We are producing training materials which support multi omics analysis via the cloud-­based infrastructure we are developing.

These are scheduled for release during Q3 2016.




These materials will include exemplar workflows/services for:

• raw data processing

• omics platform specific data analysis (e.g. assembly of genomic data, identification of peaks in proteomics data, etc)

• integrative (‘cross’) – omics data analysis and visualisation

­Training exercises will use the bacterial datasets generated through the BPA-funded SEPSIS Initiative.

There is strong demand for training material of this type across Australia from the EMBL Australia Bioinformatics Resource, the RDS A1.2 Life Science Data Services project, and the broader research community.
